Inspired by the famous Newgrange entrance stone in Ireland. This spiral design is probably the most famous Irish design from the pre-Christian period. The ancient Celts knew that the sun makes a spiral shape every three months in its travels. The triple spiral motif is drawn in one continuous line, suggestive of a 9 month cycle (birth) and the continuous line speaks to the continuity of life. It is an artistic representation of ancient Celtic belief systems and values.
